For two artistic friends, teamwork has proven successful in more than one way.
Lori Rockett, of Downsville, and Whitney Tucker, of West Monroe, have worked together designing and marketing logos at Reflections, a screen printing and embroidery business in West Monroe, for four years.
Chris Snell, president of the Farmerville Jaycees, said Rockett’s T-shirt design and Tucker’s poster design were selected to be printed as official 2010 Watermelon Festival memorabilia.
“The Jaycees liked the modern, but antique look of the designs,” Snell said. “They just stood out.”
