Development Ready comittee to hold town hall meeting

The Farmerville Development Ready steering committee will hold a town hall discussion on July 20 entitled ‘The future of Farmerville.’’
The meeting, which invites all residents of Farmerville, property owners, elected officials and business people who live within a 10-mile radius of Farmerville, will take place at the Willie Davis, Jr., Recreation Center in Farmerville.
In April, Farmerville was one of eight communities selected to participate in the Louisiana Development Ready Community pilot program.
The 12-month program will help prepare each community to effectivelty compete with out-of-state communities for good jobs, business development projects and capital investment.
