Claiborne Electric upgrades Farmerville Rural substation

Claiborne Electric crews recently spent about a week upgrading the Farmerville Rural
substation, which serves members in the Farmerville area but is outside the town’s limits.
During the project, most of the hardware and equipment at the substation was replaced. The substation’s transformer was replaced with a larger capacity transformer, all regulators were replaced with larger ones, all of the wire in the substation was replaced, and all of the substation’s switches were replaced.
