Proposed town budget calls for pay raises

Farmerville’s Town Council introduced its 2012/13 budget and passed an ordinance designed to protect the municipal water system during Monday’s regularly scheduled meeting.
The proposed budget recommends a 5 percent pay raise for all full-time town employees and also an increase of 20 percent for health insurance to meet rising costs for its workers.
