Buckley named LSA president

Union Parish’s very own sheriff, Bob Buckley, was elected president of the Louisiana Sheriffs Association. The presidency became official at 12:01 a.m. July 1. Buckley said he was honored to be chosen for the position.

“It was a four-year process to get where I am now and when the board suggested I be elected it was very humbling,” he said.
