Union Parish’s oldest known resident passed away just 11 days before his 106th birthday June 30.Marion resident, Ollie Wayne, was honored by friends and family at a funeral service held at Mount Union Missionary Baptist Church at 11 a.m. Saturday in Marion.
“The church was full and everything went really well,” said Wayne’s grandson Albert Jackson.
