After Farmerville Junior High School students read 62 million words during the 2010-11 term, FJHS teachers set a goal for students in 2011-12: students would attempt to read at least 75 million words.

Total number of words actually read during the 2011-12 school term: more than 90 million.
During the 2011-12 school term Farmerville Junior High School students read 1,007 more books than they read in 2010-11.
