Falconry demonstration one of many expo highlights

Falconer Kim Porras will be showing off her hunting falcon “Roka” at this year’s Lake D’Arbonne Country Sportman’s Expo.The expo will have many hunting related activities for young people and Porras said she is looking forward to showing what hunting with falcons is all about.
“Falconry is one of the most ancient forms of hunting known to man,” Porras said. “In fact, falcons are still used in Arabic countries as a primary resource for food.”
