Drawdown projects underway; vandals damage new pier

The Bayou D’Arbonne Watershed Lake Commission has been busy improving the lake while the water is low from the draw down. Every four years, the lake is drained approximately five feet so that the commission can ensure the lake is maintained for recreational use. Removing stumps, marking channels, and improving public ramps is just some of the things that have been happening over the past several weeks.
