Sterlington mill to custom cut downed champion pine

The largest shortleaf pine tree in the world fell victim to a thunderstorm in southeast Arkansas last July. B&T Sawmill in Sterlington custom cut the champion pine and split the remains of the 200-year-old tree with Plum Creek Timber Company.
