Former mayor Willie Davis, Jr. passes

Former Farmerville Mayor Willie Davis, Jr., who served four terms in office, passed away Thursday morning at the age of 84.
Davis was instrumental in the construction of the recreation center, which now bears his name as well as the recruitment of ConAgra, which built a poultry plant in Farmeville and is now Foster Farms.
