Community shows support for museum

Members of the board overseeing the Union Parish Museum of History and Art admit to being a bit overwhelmed by the response to last week’s announcement about the museum’s creation.
Jean Jones, chairman of the museum’s board of directors, said individuals and businesses have already begun pledging funds necessary to make improvements to the building that will house the museum.
