The town of Marion was the statewide winner in its category in the Cleaneast City Contest, sponsored by the Louisiana Garden Club Federation. Marion was awarded the “Dorothy Ann George” award. To qualify, you have to win state three years consecutively and have the highest score in the state of Louisiana. This is the third time Marion has won.
