It didn’t take long for benefits available in the D’Arbonne Cultural District to start reaping results.
Nancy Love was at Chaba’s Clay Flowers on Tuesday, explaining how one-of-a-kind, original works of art purchased within the cultural district were exempt from state and local sales taxes. A customer who had come to the store for something totally unrelated purchased one of the handmade, custom purses designed and manufactured by Chaba Simpson’s mother.
