Diane Farrar (02-03-2010)
Services for Diane Farrar, 65, of Spearsville were held at 2 p.m. Jan. 30 at Spearsville Baptist Church with Bro. James Miller officiating. Interment was in the Union Grove Cemetery in Lillie.  Arrangements were under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville. Visitation was held Jan. 29 at Farrar Funeral Home. 
Diane passed away unexpectedly but peacefully in her sleep. She was a graduate of  Spearsville High School and Louisiana Tech University where she earned  two Bachelors’ Degrees and 1 Master Degree. 
She was preceded in death by her parents: W.W. “Slick” and Ida Lee Farrar. 
Survivors include two brothers: Bud Farrar and wife, Carol and Richard Farrar and wife, Lydia all of Lillie; three nieces: Rebecca Farrar, Kristen Farrar Barber and husband, Steven and Lynley Farrar; two nephews: Daniel Farrar and Bhrett Farrar; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends. 
Pallbearers were Daniel Farrar, Jerry Farrar, Ronnie Bryant, Ray Tucker, Stephen Tucker and Dr. Joey Barron. 
The Farrar family will like to say a special “Thank You” to the staff of Alpine Nursing Center for all of the wonderful care given to Diane over the past several years.
