Services for , Elzie “Trey” Fitzgerald III, 45, of Farmerville were held Friday, February 12th at Rocky Branch Assembly of God Church with Bro. Eugene Brown and Bro. Greg Cooper officiating. Interment was in Sardis Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.Fitzgerald, a faithful employee of Tucker Steel for the past 14 yrs., died Feb. 9, 2010. He was a member of the Rocky Branch Assembly of God Church and he loved spending time with his boys and family.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents: Elzie & Linnie Fitzgerald and Louis & Bea Pringle.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Fitzgerald of Farmerville; 2 sons: Alex Fitzgerald and L.T. Fitzgerald; parents: Sonny & Bettie Fitzgerald of West Monroe; 2 sisters: Vickie Soignier & husband, David of West Monroe and Jan Branch & husband, Paul of West Monroe; 1 brother-in-law: Mike Boggs & wife, Stacie of Farmerville and numerous nieces, nephews & other relatives.
Pallbearers were Donny Tucker, Ray Albritton, Danny Hollis, John Wayne Redden, Richard Womack and Tommy Hobson.
Visitation was at the church Thursday, Feb. 11.
