Of Marion, LA
Memorial service for James Carol, known to a lot of people as “Doc” will be Friday, April 9, 2010 at 1:30 at Bethel Church of Downsville. He past away March 31, 2010 at his home. Brother Laymond Tucker will be officiating and interment will be in Mary Hill Cemetary at Point, Louisiana.
He served in the U.S. Army from August 2, 1973 to March 8, 1975.
He was a carpenter most of his life. Preceding him in death were his parents Paskel and Lillian Taylor. He is survived by his sister, Frankie Nell Taylor Neal and her husband, Robert, of Marion, Louisiana and a brother, Charles P. Taylor and wife, Sharon, at Round Rock, Texas.
He had 4 neices and 2 nephews and a lot of cousins that thought the world of him. He was a quiet person and liked to be alone, but once you got him talking you couldn’t get him to quit.
