Oscar Bearden Sr., a carpenter of Downsville, LA., passed away Feb. 12, 2012. A Funeral service was at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church in Downsville, LA., with Jim Shook and Don Whatley officiating. Interment followed services at Mt. Ararat Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Funeral Home.
