Complete but unofficial election results from Tuesday night showed John Crow won the race for Farmerville mayor by a large margin, taking 54 percent of the vote. Current mayor Stein Baughmann, Jr. did not seek reelection. Crow was not available for comment following the release of the results.

All local races except one were decided by Tuesday night. Incumbent District B Alderman Thomas Nation claimed 40 percent of the vote, but since no one had 50 percent, he will unofficially face Janet Gatson (24 percent). District A saw incumbent Robert Allen retain his seat with 53 percent of the vote. Caroline Gatson retained her District C seat with 68 percent. District D incumbent Ricky Johnikin kept his seat with 76 percent and Kerry Hill wins the District E seat vacated by Jerry Taylor with 65 percent.

Robert Williams, Ward 3, won the only contested Constable race with 78 percent of the vote.

Union Parish native Jay McCallum easily won the Fourth Supreme Court District Associate Justice race with 86 percent of the vote.

Runoff elections will be held during the Dec. 5 election.
