God loves us… NOT because we are good; but because HE is GOOD! “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever” 1 Chronicles 16:34 The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made” Psalm 145:9. Yes, God’s love is unending and deeper than the oceans; but His love is Not unconditional. We have the Ten Commandments from God the Father. Then we were given two important commandments from God the Son. Jesus was asked; “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.” “And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” Matthew 22:36-40 In John 13:34-35, Jesus’ a new commandment centered on selfless love – highlighting it as the distinctive mark of His disciples. “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.” Do we love one another as disciples… as true children of God? Maybe some of us aren’t children of God – YET; but we could be; if loved, treated kindly and introduced to the word of God. “Be the light…” Philippians 2:15 “That you may be blameless and innocent, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and twisted generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world. To emulate God’s great love and to share His loving messages, we must engage in good works, in worship and in fellowship with others… speaking the Good News. We must look for ways to be more compassionate, more serving; more Jesus-like. Philippians 2:3-4 “In humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others”. 1 John 3:18 “My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.” This verse challenges believers to move beyond mere verbal expressions of love, urging them to demonstrate it through tangible actions. Psalm 143:10 “Teach me to do your will, for you are my God! Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground!”

Stevie and Sue Pace led our music today. Mary Ella Dixon played a piano special for the offertory. She is doing great in her musical pursuits. Sydney Akers brought a beautiful special. Bro. Bubba’s message today was from Psalms 11. David was a man who lived a life of contrasts. He had many victories and defeats. He was wealthy and at times poor; sinful, yet a man after God’s own heart; merciful, yet committed murder; broken, yet restored; betrayed by those at his table, yet loved by those who betrayed him. Why was he able to do this? Through it all he held on to God, as God held on to him. God also holds on to us through all our trials and victories because of the blood of Jesus. David was pursed by King Saul, who wanted to kill him because he was jealous. The people celebrated David’s victories more than Saul. How did David maintain his faith in God? These truths are in Psalms chapter 11. 1) Declaration of the Faithful. David hurt, yet always came back to God when he realized his sins. David declared his faith in God. Many encouraged him to give up. Satan does this to us. David was running constantly. Surely he questioned, why? There are always those who stand against us when we stand up for the Lord. 2) Destruction of the Faithless. Psalms: 11:5-6. God rejects those who continue to be faithless. That is our fate, if we continue to reject His mercy and love. God does not change. There are only two choices, Heaven or Hell. 3) Delight of the Father. Psalms 11:7. God Loveth the faithful. God turns His back on the ungodly. To the faithful, His countenance beholds them affectionately.

Worship Service, November 19th, Psalm Chapter 122. V.6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. We are living under a godless government where so many have turned against Jerusalem and believe only in themselves and no longer believe in or follow God. In the early times, the towns were built around the church. The church was the center point. Jerusalem is the center point of the world. It is the center of God’s desire. We come to church seeking answers to the problems of our lives. If there is peace in God’s world, then there is peace everywhere. The question is not does God love us; it’s do we love God. Is God and the church the center of your life? Sunday Evening, November 19th, 2 Chronicles and 1 Timothy. The most important part of church is prayer. The very foundation is prayer. Prayer is our open admission that without Christ we can do nothing. Prayer is our expression of faith in God’s power, fueled by our desire for more of Him. Israel is being destroyed right now by war. America is being destroyed by the devil. Many, many people in America are supporting the evil of Hamas and the Palestinian who hate Israel and want the total destruction of the Jewish people. After a short service Sunday Evening, we gathered together in a “circle of prayer” to ask God for the protection of Israel, and for the American people and our government to turn away from their hatred of Israel and Christianity and turn back to Him. LMBC Upcoming Events: Thanksgiving Dinner, Sunday after the morning service, November 26th. Caroling at Arbor Lake Nursing Home, Saturday, December 9th at 3pm. Adult Christmas party, Saturday December 16th, bring a $10 gift and join us for a fun filled evening of fellowship. Children’s Christmas program followed by their Christmas party. There are men and women who have struggled in their lives with addictions of all kinds (drugs, alcohol, etc…) who may not be accepted in the typical or traditional church setting. In fact, they may still be battling some of these issues. They may have had a past of incarceration, rehab, broken relationships, or just a bad reputation from being raised in a negative culture. They may not look the part of a clean cut polished Christian. Redeemed Center welcomes these individuals to come and worship with us and learn how to rediscover God’s love and purpose for your lives. The Second Coming of Christ (Acts 1:6-11) The disciples watched as Jesus ascended into heaven and two angels asked them why they were gazing upward. They told the disciples Jesus would return one day, just as he left. His incarnation work was done, but His continuation work was about to begin through the disciples and church. He had to return to heaven, for the Holy Spirit’s part of the plan to be put in place. The angels weren’t the only ones to announce Jesus’ return. It was documented by several others in the Bible, such as Enoch, Daniel, Zechariah, John and Paul. Just as the disciples’ attention was focused on Jesus then, we should have our focus on Him now. As awesome as the event will be, when God’s army of angels appears in the eastern sky, we will be looking for Jesus. Are you looking to Jesus today? The disciples were not only looking for the person of Jesus, but they were also listening for a promise. The angels told the disciples Jesus would return, in like manner, meaning the same way He left is the same way He will return. They watched Him leave and we are watching for His return, but in the meantime, we are to continue the kingdom work He set forth for us to do. Christians shouldn’t be star gazers, we should be witnesses of Jesus and talking to others about Him. Our life should reflect the ascended savior and we should be sharing His love with everyone we meet, while waiting for Him to return. The time for His return is drawing near, are you ready for Him?
