Aldermen to meet Monday

The Town of Farmerville Board of Aldermen will meet in regular session at 5 p.m. Oct. 12 at Town Hall.

Dutch Oven event scheduled

The D’Arbonne Dutch Oven Cookers will host its next event Oct. 17. Food on the tables at 11:30. D’Arbonne Dutch Oven Cookers is a Dutch Oven Group that meets the third Saturday of each month at Lake D’Arbonne State Park

Early voting dates set

The Union Parish Registrar of Voters has announced early voting dates for the November election. Early voting starts Oct. 16 and ends Oct. 27, and will be available from 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. each day (except Sundays) at the Union Parish Courthouse Annex, located at 303 E. Water Street, Suite 107 in Farmerville.

StoryWalk set for Marion

Oct. 18 is the date for the Marion StoryWalk Celebration. There will be art activities, games to play, and much more family fun!
