Body

Union Parish Elementary School held its’ Social Studies Fair on February 25, 2020. There were eighteen contestants total. Out of those eighteen contestants, there were six first and second place winners who received an invitation to compete at the regional level.

The Regional Social Studies Fair for Region II took place Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Louisiana Tech University. Each of the schools within Region II were invited to send the first and second place winners from their School Social Studies Fair to compete. Of UPESs six winners, three placed and were invited to compete at the Louisiana State Social Studies Fair that would have taken place Wednesday, May 5, 2020 in Lake Charles, LA. Due to the Coronavirus Covid19, the State Social Studies Fair was cancelled.
