Graveside services for Roger Henry Harris, 72, of Choudrant, La., were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Pine Grove Cemetery, 1187 Pine Grove Church Road, Bernice, La. 71222. Services were officiated by Bro. Drew Spillers under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home of Farmerville.

Funeral services for Patty Dean Hayes, 79, of Farmerville, LA were held on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Farmerville Church of Christ in Farmerville, LA. Officiating the service was Pastor Ben Walker. A visitation was held on Monday, November 9, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Church. Interment followed in Liberty Hill Taylor Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Farmerville, LA.

Ruby Elizabeth Brantley Davidson, age 96, of Farmerville, LA was born on August 2, 1924 in Farmerville, LA and passed away peacefully on November 2 at The Carpenter House in Shreveport, LA. Graveside services were held at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, November 4 at Liberty Hill Taylor cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Homes of Farmerville. Officiating will be Bro. Terry Cole.

Robbie Lawson and Terry Cole officiating. Interment followed in Perkins-Alford Cemetery, in Truxno, La., under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Sometimes we are fortunate enough in life for our paths to cross with someone who illuminates the finer aspects of our existence. Everyone who knew Renee was honored with this gift. A master of absolutely awful puns whose generosity knew no bounds, Renee touched the lives of those around her with a gentle hand. She was quick to both recognize and encourage the good in those around her, and she was always ready to lend an ear, an arm, or anything else she had to offer to someone in need. Selflessness was not just a part of who she was, but an embodiment of her life.

Curtis Doyle Pennington, 78, of Spearsville, LA passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center in West Monroe, LA. Doyle was born November 12, 1941 in Junction City, AR to the union of John Otis Pennington and Lizzy Belle Smith Pennington.

John E. Taylor, 86, native of Farmerville, Louisiana, and longtime resident of South Riding, Virginia, died October 14, 2020 of heart failure.
