Funeral services for Peggy Gantt Patton Graham, 91, of Farmerville were held at 2:00pm, Thursday, December 26, 2019 at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Reeves officiating. Interment followed in Corinth Cemetery, near Hico, La., under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
Mrs. Graham went to her heavenly home on December 23, 2019. Mrs. Graham was a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and taught in the Union Parish School System and at East Union Academy for a number of years. She enjoyed reading her Bible and loved the Lord and her family dearly. Mrs. Graham was married to Senator B.R. Patton who was instrumental in building Lake D’Arbonne and briefly married to Rev. M.L. Graham, Sr. Her message was that she “wanted everyone to know the love of the Lord and she would meet you by the Crystal Sea.”
Mrs. Graham was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Senator B.R. Patton; her second husband, Rev. M.L. Graham, Sr.; parents, Enos & Grace Pratt Gantt; and brother, George Gantt.
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Rita Lynn Morris (Haril) and Sara Sue Hollis (Steve); two sons, Robert Rex Patton and Benny Bruce Patton; three grandchildren, Benny Hollis (Katie), Emily Barron and Daniel Hollis (Sarah); six great-grandchildren; and a host of other family and friends.
Visitation was held Thursday, December 26, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. ~ 2:00 p.m. at Farrar Funeral Home Chapel.
