More than 80 boats hit the water on Lake D’Arbonne last Friday to kick off the 2020 Crappie Masters Louisiana State Championship Tournament. The top 17 teams earned a total of $33,550 and weighed in 471.25 pounds of Crappie. The winning team of father and son, Bruce and Matthew Rogers, had a 2-day total of 30.36 lbs., and took home $11,800. Biggest Fish (3.25 lbs.) went to the team of Dan Langston and James Pegram, who finished 13th and won $750. Second place went to the father-daughter team of Terry and Terra Stewart (29.64, $5,000) and in third place was Dustin Harris and Kelly Graham (29.07, $3,200). The top Adult/Youth winners were TJ and Alex Palmer, finishing fourth (28.69, $2,300).
