This week the Wolves made good strides for the program, despite what the score may show. The game against the Jonesboro-Hodge Tigers was the first district game of 3 three this year.
Freshman Hayden Gray made his debut at quarterback last week with 15 carries on the ground for 59 yards. The defense played a great game but offensive turnovers and special teams put the Tigers in good field position multiple times in the second half.
Last year DWCS lost to Jonesboro-Hodge 66-6 so this year is an improvement.
