Given the financial impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, ULM Athletics is lowering football season-ticket prices to make seats more affordable for Warhawk fans. Season-ticket prices have been discounted from $20-$30 per seat, depending on location, according to an announcement made Friday, May 8 by ULM Athletics Director Scott McDonald.
Season-ticket packages are available for $125 for lower chair backs, $75 for lower bench and upper chair backs, and $50 for general admission. Faculty and staff season-ticket packages are priced at $100 for lower chair backs, $60 for lower bench and upper chair backs, and $40 for general admission.
With just a $20 deposit, season-ticket holders can secure their current seat locations. In addition, fans may take advantage of a three-month payment plan for the cost of the season tickets. The deadline to renew football season tickets is Wednesday, June 17.
ULM Athletic Foundation members may utilize the three-month payment option for lower chair back seat premiums as well as RV and Pecan Grove tailgating spaces.
Season-ticket renewal invoices will be mailed the week of May 18.
New season-ticket purchasers also may take advantage of the three-month payment option.
“We remain sensitive to the fact that all of our stakeholders are facing financial challenges, so that’s why we delayed announcing the new pricing structure for football season tickets,” McDonald said. “I’m pleased with the aggressive season-ticket pricing structure and extended payment plan that our senior administrative staff has developed. It’s arguably the most affordable football season ticket in the Sun Belt Conference.
“Our focus remains on developing gameday guidelines that will ensure the safety of student-athletes, coaches, administrators, staff, alumni, fans and students. There’s nothing like a football Saturday on The Bayou and tailgating in The Grove, and we look forward to safely welcoming all of our stakeholders back to campus this fall.
“As I’ve previously stated, the strength of Northeast Louisiana as well as our campus community lies in its people, so together, we’ll rebound from this COVID-19 pandemic.”
ULM’s 2020 home football schedule features a non-conference game against Cal Poly (Sept. 5 at 7 p.m.) as well as Sun Belt Conference match-ups against Texas State (Sept. 19 at 7 p.m.), Georgia Southern (Oct. 3 at 6 p.m.), Appalachian State (Oct. 31 at 6 p.m.) and the Ragin’ Cajuns (Nov. 28 at 4 p.m.).
